This is a search utility for windows my son, the IT expert turned me on to. It's called "Everything". Since I started using it I never use the search feature that came with windows. It is one of the neatest utilities I've ever used. As soon as you type the first letter of what you're looking for it immediately lists every file that uses that letter no matter where it is in a filename. It is so fast it boggles the mind. No more waiting for windows to grind away for minutes looking for something and in the end, not finding anything.

Here is another one my son put me on to. It's called "ieSpell" it's a little spell checker that is always lurking in the background and it's there whenever you want to spell check anything. *CAUTION* it only uses American spelling conventions, "Color" instead of "Colour" for instance.

I've found that *most* paid-for anti-virus programs are so bloated, you need a high-end computer just to run them.

I always recommend the FREE anti-virus software...

top 5 reviewed for 2011...

with Avast (the one I personally use) being #1...

Again: Make sure you install the FREE version, NOT the *Trial Pay*
