Methinks Haggard and most fanatics protest too much.

It says somewhere in the bible that God will expose those who are not real... And those who do the devils work. (Only put in my words) Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about and can quote it.

Seems like more and more people inside the churches are getting caught for everything. Then they wonder why the pew's are empty. How can someone be an ambassador for god, and not walk in his light, and still go in front of others and preach against that he had done himself?

I have to agree with you on this one. I have alot of family values and am also a Christian. I don't attend church for some of the reasons you have mentioned. Anymore the churches have become so terrible and hypocritical and I'm not "donating" my money for "sins" so to speak.

I worship in my own way, in my own time and wherever I feel like it. I don't try to push my beliefs on anyone else. I try to live my life the way God wants, but I make mistakes, as we all do.

I just laugh and laugh when after they get accused or perhaps threatened with punishment or public ridicule theyhow you say it... "get right with the lord" or "willing confess their sins".

warning that should be posted before TV relgous shows and at the doors of all places of worship:

believe and have faith in the message....
not the messenger

There are bad apples in every bunch, cops who kill, priests who molest, parents who murder their children, teachers who molest, on and on....
Don't forget about the ones who never get caught.

Republicans know that economically disadvantaged people tend to be religious. So they use religion to get people who should be voting democratic, to vote republican.

I think politicians hide behind a veil of religion just like a p*dophile priest hides behind his collar. They are going to say whatever they need to get a vote. Do they really go to church? are they just there for show if they do? They will only be rewarded in the eyes of fools.

It is funny how they talk morals but at the same time all they are really concerned about is money. I wonder how many churches donate to a political party from their collection plates..non taxable moneys???

Yes and there are alot of priests out there that do imorral things. They are sheep in wolves clothing and feed off the trust of others. Unfortunately politicains do the same and use this same pulpit to take advantage of people.

its ironic how politicians only come clean after they have been caught... until then they spout "family values"for the only reason they also talk to the public.... for votes.
