There is certain to be a range of reasons, from just being a shallow selfish git to not wanting to be financially ruined by child support payments.
Given that 50% of marriages end in divorce, when a man gets married these days he is taking a 50/50 punt that it will work, or the woman will take him for everything he has and use child support payments to make a pauper of him for the rest of his life.
If there are no children, then that huge liability is removed from the picture.
If you want children and a man does not, move on until you find a man who does.
I have three children. I am open to the idea of more, if the right woman comes along.

For me Idk why anyone wouldn't want to have children. For me it WOULD be a deal breaker. Because I don't have any kids and if I don't soon, I may not be able to have them at all ! =(( =((

This is a constant issue I keep coming across and have stayed single because of this reason.

In my case, I'm not a kid kinda person, never have been and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon

The world already has enough dead beat parents who will more than likely breed more dead beat kids.....

I think it's horses for courses, everyone is entitled to their opinion on the matter, it's just a "Choice" we decide to make with the right (or maybe not so right) person.

I've made my choice not to be pressured or bullied into having a family and I actually look for women who don't want kids to avoid the pressures also

Just wondering, have you ever considered getting sterilized to make sure you never becoming an accidental father and produce an unwanted child ?

Here's how it currently works in the US:
What men want is irrelevant.
Women have kids at 14-19, preferably with the tallest druggies with the most tats they can find, by the time they're 22, they are DONE DONE.
That's when they do things like go online to look for some lonely, desperate suckah with a steady job (codename: 'Mr. Right') to pay for the upbringing of those kids.
See the 234 billion threads on this ansd all other online so-called 'dating' sites about 'Why can't I find a Nice Guy?'(TM).
Women in their mid-30's to mid-50's (with or without kids) who either still have it going on or who at least think they do, chase after guys in their late teens and early 20's (tall, tattoos, see above) and will react rather vitriolically when approached by anyone over 28.
Unless he drives a Ferrari and owns several tropical islands.
