I have found the messages and flowers quite unrealistic, but I have only been on this site a year now,
I have come home a few time and checked my Emails to find a message from CS saying I have a message? When I log on there is no message? The other week I found three flowers from women at lest two months old, but they were from overseas,
Maybe instead of a stupid flower you could say a short comment on something you read on their profile that got you thinking? Just a suggestion, people often like talking about themselves as in interest and hobbies, try and keep the personal stuff down until you have made real contact with them,
Good luck , at least there are more women over there than here?

Simmo1: Why is it that women on dating sites want the Brad Pitt/George Clooney type of guys? Dont they understand that they are on a dating site, and if they could get the perfect guy, he wouldn't be on a dating site, some other women would have him.
Why are ladies so rude that they dont respond to flowers, winks, or msg's?
I was taught to be polite, even if it was to say thanks but no thanks.
MANNERS seems to be in everyone's profile somewhere, but it seems they are very rarely used.
I guess this is more of a rant than a blog.
I would be interested to see what the ladies say.
I have many questions to put forward, but will stop here and see what the response will be.

I'm sure that applys to the genuine guys on site as well..
I get guys looking on site ,but as I think they are there after I have posted a remark on the forums,I presume they are just looking to find out who I am. Thats cool and it's nice to meet you all I'm sure if they wanted contact after that, they would flower me or something..In which case it would be up to me to respond either way, which I always do unless it's from some nineteen year old or someone else so far out of my preference range it could end up getting me arrested ..

You're wrong, Simmo. Women on dating sites and in the real life will want the Jean Dujardin type of guy in future. If they like the French humour, of course.

I just find it totaly amazing that i still get the same amount of scam mail since i moved to Australia.
First all the widowers wanted to move to Germany, now they want to move here.

Oh my dear its so great to see you really happy,and I agree about CS but have found some wonderful people on here and a couple of dear friends as well.
I try and be polite to everyone including the ones where iv told them "sorry your just not what i'm looking for" some get it straight up and thank me for responding at all, and others just ignore me. On the rare occasion that im sent a flower i send one in return or a longer message if im interested.
So basically I know that I want a reply of some kind when I send my flowers and messages so I do the same.
It's not that hard to send a quick reply, even if it is to say "no thanks"

Well l must be rude, as l get emails from men who have obviously not read my profile. I get the ones who want to have kids or have young kids...my profile clearly states that lve been thier and done that as far as kids are concerned. They also dont look at my status, which says not single, not looking. I simply got sick to death of answering men with did you read my profile or sorry lm not interested. Then thiers the scammers and the sleeze bags who either send suggestive emails or even naked pictures of themselves...yes lve recieved one like that....so now l just block or ignore them. If that makes me rude so be it
