Me I loved the Motown era...danced my feet off to the Four Tops, the Temptations, and many more. If i had to choose an all time favourite it would be the Isley Brothers "This Old Heart of mine". What would be yours from that era??yay

Hi therewave ... Well I loved the Beatles and saw them here in birmingham England but you guys gave us a sound that was unique. Its great that we have a Merry Old England/USA sound that unites us still in music....Keep on doin what ya doin..yay

Hello to you pretty lady..wave I did like the Beatles( they wrote many beautiful songs) & many of the British invasion groups that brought a unique sound & I appreciated their talent through today in fact.

Music in many cases can bridge the gap so to speak & sometimes can create a peaceful atmosphere... wine

This, besides being Motown, one of my favorite songs of all time. I couldn't believe(approx.5yrs. ago) a young couple picked this for their wedding song(I was amazed to say the least)

what great memories:loved saturdays when the recreation centers were open for dances after basketball games.my first concert
i saw ike and tina turner.second diva.years later i saw tina turner with bryan adams.i would copy soul train dancers.

....meanwhile my folks were listening to johnny mathis,nat king cole,sammy davis.
