AustralianGirlAU: Thanks Tomcat - that's so lovely of you ;-)and likewise I enjoy seeing your comments.
The idea of 'the one' is disturbing for the same reasons you outline. I always wonder if a person's 'the one' was run over by a bus are they then forever screwed in the lurve department?
The rise of the modern concept of modern romantic love ...that is easily enough found with a little 'Google research'....but for another thread it would be interesting to talk about where the concept of 'The One' has come from and why it is so popular.
I think the love phenomenon occurs often enough where people experience themselves in 'love'. And for some they are a little more innured (immune) to this phenomenon.
As I already wrote I do not agree with this aproach. The truth can be found at the midle between science and religion. You aproach excludes the life or religiosity. So you have just a partial view.
I explained that the "thoughts are the response of the brain to stimules". And stimules are coming from the life, from the surounding, from a girl or a boy... So this is missing in your aproache.... You are forgeting the complexity of life. Is not possible to reduce all just to hormons, beacause is not true.

Love is to be happy with....nothing more and nothing less. The more you complicate it the less you will find it. If you are completely happy with someone then you can know for sure you love that someone.
