hi mars ,this is good subjec to talk ,we have so many great places to see here,some haritages thousands of years old,a well known lake ,so many fruit and vegetable orchards around me,nice peoples and good pollution and rush free atmosphere

ooby_dooby: I'm familiar with the Homosassa area. Did some diving in Crystal river years ago. A part of FL many tourists don't see beyond Wickee Wachee.

there is a civil war battle reenactment once a year just north of crystal river.....there was a port there and the yankees built yankee town on the north side of the withalacotchee and the south on the south side...spain and france even pirates i heard supplied florida with funds to try and stay in the war...there is a road in inglis called follow that dream road where part of an elvis movie was shot...the bugs there are a 10 for pain..no see ums we called them...back in crystal river there are indian burial mounds...i dont see the attraction tho...there is an old train station that used a small springs water called lebanon station...there use to be a west coast railroad in florida...this entire area has spring fresh water and there once was a salt spring...the gulf seems like a toilet bowl to me at times other times its beautiful...florida has such diverse areas...near orlando is a town called cassadaga...it is said the devil lives above ground there...you can swim with manatees in crystal river or get your roof done by us at curry roofing...the springs are in and around the areas they are clean and clear... florida see it like a native...
