I think a conservatives strength lies in the strength of running with the pack and with underlying ideology that have stood firm for longer periods of time often with brutal repercussions for anyone who challenges its ideology. These pack runners find strength in numbers and security in tested ideas. They dont respond well to change. Their strength seems limited to 'the way mother taught us to be'. Could they be afraid of standing alone?

A liberal male, on the other hand, might seem a bit flimsy, challenging the tried, testing new ideas, walking off from the crowds to meditate in the woods for a while. They might not like to shed blood in physical fight and verbal jousting like a conservative , who guards his lot with force; but their weakness in this regard is also their strength... their quiet retreat is a contemplation. When they again confront the conservative, by manner of assessing their own mind, and thus the minds of others, they stand tall like pillars of truth in front of those too scared to fall.
