rivame: My EX and I divorced amicably and getting the divorce was really just tying up loose ends.
I didnt expect the feeling of sorrow though that I felt when the judge granted us the divorce...maybe it was the feeling of failure...of the loss of a dream

that's what i was gonna say....grin
even though i was the one that left, and filed for divorce...there was a sadness when it came time to sign the papers.
but it was about the loss of a dream...not the man.
Marss...it hurt for a long time. and i hated when folks said give it time...but truth be told...i needed the time.
and now looking back..my life is soooo much better than it was then. use this time to discover who you are independent of any 'birds' you may be meeting. and make some plans for the future that make you happy. get busy living, and love finds you.
