equiya: so just BLOCK him, he will get the message then.

Being nice and offerng friendship didn't work, why should you allow him to stress you?
I agree that this would be appropriate for someone who doesn't respect the first reply. All I am saying is to be nice when someone does try to be friendly; after that it is fair to put them off firmly if they ignore the polite request. handshake

aramaya: If you have said that you could still be friends, then is he just sending you mail to be just friends??if you are friends with someone then you should be able to communicate as friends....or did you really mean that as a way to tell him you werent interested??.....
Being honest with him and yourself,if you are not interested in him and dont really want him as a friend....he obviously wants more then that..maybe just let it fade off, dont reply to much and he will get the message.....
That crossed my mind, too, but I didn't want to sound overly paternal and/or like I was digging into her or chastising. (It only takes a tiny spark to keep a fire going----if the OP wants a total end then watch the Smoky Bear commercial and put the flame out COLD!laugh sorta saying "No" is like sorta saying "Yes". know what i mean jelly bean?)

Carl96190: It is good manners to respond to let the person know whether or not you are interested.
If it is a scammer it is fair enough to ignore them, but otherwise show some manners.

To have manners, can have it's setbacks and make you wish you hadn't bothered.

I used to reply to people if I wasn't interested, but after the pattern became insulting to my kind, polite reply wishing them well, it's now not worth the effort.

I can see your point. And it's a fair one. It's not that I don't ever NOT respond--and I had this cling- on that was hard to discourage, but finally it sunk in to the idiot. You are right, sometimes silence is golden...

I'm nice to him...and i offer him friendship but he wants more than that..
I'm a bit stress because he got my number..He's calling me every second of the day (exaggerated)grin... and for 1 week he stopped calling me,, thought he got my message (that im not interested with him)...After a week here he go again... I don't really block someone but if he would insist again what he want i will take the action of blocking him..

Yes it is good manners!!!you politely decline.
You don't say...get lost you ugly tart.
You say..thanks for your interest but i don't think we are suited.I wish you all the best in your quest.
It seems it's easier to be rude than have manners.
