You must have had some hard knocks in ur life. Don´t believe you haven´t found at least one person in your life you can depend on though. Nothing is permanent in this life, and the people we meet along the way sometimes are around for a long time, others flit in and out.........circumstances change and we have to adapt accordingly. Death being the ultimate earthly separation.
I personally would not want to be rich....you have an even greater problem in distinguishing who really loves you....you´re mostly surrounded by sycophants.
Another point.......mostly you get back what you give out......but there are exceptions to every rule.

I have two cats. They don't hurt or disappoint you. Their love is unconditional. I lost my husband suddenly and they are at the door when I get home from work. They also sleep on my bed at night. I try to look for the good in people but sometimes the bad outweighs the good.

Well, I can agree with some of what you said; especially about no relationship being permanent and how we are all selfish. I would be lying if I said I wasn't selfish. However; family and friends are very dear to me. They will always be there when a romantic partner quite often lets you down. Money and looks will get you what you want but such is life. Sucks but that is just reality.

Your friends you have aren't true friends, because if they were, they would be your friend through thick and thin. There are plenty of acquaintances, but not true friends. I have found some men, try to find out what you have as in(house and money). You are right they are greedy, instead of looking for friendship, they are looking for money.

Money can NOT get you healthy family or true friends. It can help to get better health care but can´t stop loved ones from dying. It can get you a bigger place in a "better" neighbourhood, but not more peace of mind. It can get you a more expensive meal in a restaurant, but not true enjoyment of it if you´re unhappy and stressed out.
In my experience, the first step towards changing how people perceive you is to change how you perceive yourself, people and your surroundings.

I tend to agree with the money thing, people who have more money do seem to have more open doors for relationships and can usually get away with more.
