I think there are positives to being curvy .... We need to embrace our curves ... I was very skinny before I had my daughter ... Giving birth had left with a whole new body ....I tried for many months to lose the weight .. But couldn't get back to my old skinny self ... And to be honest I get a lot more compliments now ... So yeah I can't fit into teenage clothing anymore .... But I look more like woman than I did before .... I love my body... And so should all curvy women ....

^^ It can mean ALL of the above, and much more. A description such as 'curvy' is entirely subjective. That's why, for me at least nothing beats a photo or 3. I've seen 'curvy' used to describe very very different body types.

Yes, this is my impression also ...but that's why i wanted to know MEN perception when they see a woman's profile stating as body type : CURVY.
I don't wanna know if men like curvy body...just what they understand when they see CURVY in a woman's Profile.

Same here. Was very skinny and gained some weight after my second child. Most of us curvy women have a great personality to go with it. haha------ This thread is Archived ------

Not me, I usually do think fat when I see it written n a profile, especially if there's on a picture of the face. Many times I've seen "curvy" written, with a pic, showing that they're clearly way over line of curvy.
Could just be the way they see themselves, I doubt it's usually meant to deceive anyone. Whatever, curvy, fat, obese, just be honest, having the curvature beach ball isn't curvy.
