Hey Pointy there many lakes in South Africa but I have never swam in any ..... As I am more of a beach and pool person ..... But Lake Ontario is like a beach it was different ....

Yeah I heard some frosty stories about the winters around there .... Lol .....
I am in Mauritius at the moment ... No snow here ..... And as for South Africa it mostly snows on the bergs ...
