I wouldn't place too much importance on an age range.
Some people may not take too much care or could care less, if they are not here looking.
For me, inserting 99-99 means I am out of the radar of age range searches. We all have different reasons. Some have none.
In the end, if you like the profile, contact that person. You will soon find out for yourself, 'who' the profile is about.
