I assume you`re referring to persons who were born blind ,and I frankly don`t know, never spoke about that to a blind person. As far as I remember they couldn`t understand colors

The conditions of a real blind man and the possibilities to see what is not known is a technical question, but I was more thinking about it in a philosophical/ spiritual way.

oh, like hopes and desires for people who are emotionally blind???
There´s are beautiful scenes in the film "Elephant Man" where he is teaching a young blind girl what colours "feel" like along the lines of blue= cold/red=hot and another one where he gives her cotton wool so that she gets a "feel" of the clouds ...

It is not about that. We touched about it another post we exchanged comments, on the truth and the different forms of truth.
The dream is the subjective truth, which means, if accepted, that any meaning will do. We look at the same thing, but it has different meaning to us. Just because you see a meaning, does it mean u understand it? in that case any meaning will do, but then how do you explain you have understood the truth?

But what if a blind person cannot visualize anything in a dream ? Doesn't that need to be established first before going on to the philosophical level ?

I am aware of this, but I don't think so, for the point in the discussion. I assume you know what it is.

It doesn´t matter. What matters is that you understand what helps to grow NOW. Each one will understand the meaning they need at that moment.
Take exacxtely the same dream a few months and experiences down the road and a different understanding will come from it. Exactely what you need at that moment. As nothing is static, nor is our understanding. There can be different stages of understanding of one same thing. It doesn´t matter. Eventually everyone will gat to understand that truth.
It matters that everyone has the freedom to explore those different stages without being judged by those who are at a different stage.

Does a blind man dream, and if he do, does he understand what he sees?
