It would seem this is the perfect place for someone shy...its a lot easier to type on a keyboard than to do it in real life. Rejection sucks but it happens to everybody. You can't always wait for life to come to you, sometimes you have to go to it.

If you have spoken to him yet then don't go scaring the guy away .. Just first try to be friends .. Start there get to know him ... Give him a chance to get to know you ... Who knows after getting to know each other you may not like him as you thought ... Or it could turn out to be a great friendship which could then move on to something else ...
