My maternal Great Grand Parents came over from Germany, through Ellis Island. They did it legally and became citizens. My Paternal Grand Parents came from Wales. They also came through Ellis Island and also became citizens. I used to live in southern California and the illegal aliens problem there is unbelievable. They work for cash and show no visible means of income and receive so many benefits that citizens can not get. Welfare; which they have never paid, subsidized housing, free health care, food stamps and the list goes on. I am in favor of rounding up EVERY illegal alien in the USA and deporting them. I could round up about 10,000 a day. Just go to any home depot or hardware store early in the morning. I am also in favor of fining and fining heavily any company or individual who hires illegal aliens. It is amazing that all of the people who do not see the illegal aliens as problem in the USA are from foreign/non-US countries. How can you possibly berrate this individual making this post? If you are not in this country/USA then cannot possibly see the damage it is doing to this country/USA? Here's my two cents on this long standing border issue. Yes, these are my opinions.
I'd like to see amnesty given to all Mexicans illegally here in the U.S.A. IF they have clean backgrounds... Otherwise, deport them now.
For decades, the political leaders of the U.S.A. and Mexico are responsible for all of the current millions of Mexicans here illegally.
Mexican politico's perpetrated poverty on their own people to improve their own self worth, while American sleezbag politicians exploited their indigent state by attracting them here to benefit industrial and agricultural production as well as winning votes from Mexicans legally living in this country like woebama is doing.
Give these people from Mexico a break now but then our government should enforce the immigration laws that worked before.
Any newly naturalized Mexican receiving this amnesty should then be required to obey our laws, like the rest of us, including paying income and other taxes.
And, any employer hiring and/or caught paying under the table should get a number and do time in a state or federal prisone for a term of no less than 20 years w/o chance of parole.

this sounds like a compromise solution with some potential to me.
Although the OP is clearly too extreme. I will say that quite frankly I do not think those of you from other nations are entitled to opinions regarding our internal immigration affairs in the US. We are entitled to ask out gov't to enforce existing laws and it is NO ONE else's business. Except maybe lifeisadream....but honestly....illegal immigrants are not all Mexican. It is not a racial issue....if someone is here illegally it is illegal irrespective of their race or creed or culture. period.

you might be surprised and might change your feelings about what it means to be an american - unless you are native american we all are immigrants.
people caught in US illegal are being deported - look at what happens regarding Cuba and Haiti - in eastern US - "wet-foot, dry-foot". mexico is not the only country that has people slipping across the border - check out those canadians
