I could go into detail about all the eminent people that have made a difference but I wont! so this is just for me' ELVIS PRESLEY' he hit me like a ton of bricks, made the sixties into an exciting and unbelievable time to be alive.

As far as Australians go I'd say Howard Florey for his role in regards to penicillin.
Norman Borlaug(father of the green revolution)for better or worse,either way he could certainly be seen as having a major influence on the world.
Also given the way Chinas shaping up in regards to future influence,then perhaps Deng Xiaoping could be percieved as more influential than Mao even.Having said that I think Mao would have to be a candidate.
