Each time I read a condolence for Crusier, it brings tears to my eyes.
I'm not sure how long Cruiser has been a CS member but I think it's sad that none of us knew the pain he is going through. It's nobody's fault. It just goes to show that sometimes we hide the things that are most painful.
Cruiser is sleeping now....he's from Australia...I'm sure he will get back to you with his appreciation.

No offence, but I always worry that these threads, that draw attention to someone else's hurt, may cause more damage to the person whose personal life is dragged out in the open, than they do good.

Let's get something clear:
1. The thread wasn't written to draw attention to someone's hurt. In fact, I didn't know what happened to his daughter when I wrote the thread.
2. Cruiser made a comment in the thread about "losing" his daughter so I contacted him in private email
3. He told me the story. I asked him if he wanted me to tell the CS community and HE SAID YES HE DID. So you see, he does need comforting.
4. If you want to know if he appreciates the kindness that was shown to him, maybe you should send him an email and tell him what's on your mind.
