If a woman has dark hair and her eyebrows are thick, they tend to need a tidy up .. just a cosmetic procedure thingy that's evolved over the years I guess

My mother had a mad moment (in her teenage years) of shaving her eyebrows so she could get "the look." Rsulted in cutting out the roots and they never grew back. Meant she had to draw them on every morning, even when her eyesight was failing
I have met guys who do not like the "mono-brow" and get it waxed
And on the rare occasions I get my hair cut, the hairdressers say "You do not want to look like Gough Whitlam or John Howard (depends on their age). I'll trim your eyebrows." grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
