Many unsung horses around. Arwon back in the 70s was bred for sprints and was headed for the knackery as a dismal failure. Until they they tried her over 2 miles. Won nearly every 2-mile Cup in one year, including the Melb Cup.
As they say, horses for courses. BC is a great sprinter. Hope the progeny can live up to the name.
