grin ...........and here`s a Hello from the Granny kind! At my age I`m allowed to greet handsome young men, it`s the neighbourly thing to do, like bringing over a pot of tea/coffee/cakes when new neighbors move into the area. (or a bottle of whisky/beers, depends on who`s who in the zoo type of thing)cheers

Smoky, You know where I live.
You bring the goodies (and your man) and I will have the coffee ready.
What does one have to do to get someone to come and talk?

Dear Mr Aussiebargeman, Thank you again for the invite to your barge - I must say it looks most charming!

The problem is these Swiss! They have to work!

Just make yourself at home here on the EU Forum - post some controversial threads, or make inane comments to innane threads - and let people get to know you.

Hey! I know a lovely lady, lives in Spain - somehow I think you two should meet each other! I`ll send her an email and suggest she take an interest. And will send you her name so you can do the gentlemanly contact thingy. Ok?

Are you still parked in Stuttgart?

Howler? I do not howl. I just give dirty looks that shrivel people`s souls.

Okay, so you were welcomed here on about the 12th July, and it`s now the middle of August, and you have vanished. That is not the way to meet a nice young lady to spend your future with!

You`re supposed to make lots of contributions to threads here so people can get to know you (and trust you that you`re not a scammer) (of course you could still be a scammer - but that`s beside the point as most of the ladies here are fully aware of modus operandis (or is that operandii?)

Why do you think old people like me spend our precious time here making inane one-sided conversations? .... It`s to motivate you young-uns to communicate!
