When you start losing hope that you'll ever meet someone,might make a differance if it was"real"for at least one night,meaning acyually seeing some other member"s.It's just a thought.

Hi Cora, When I came on the site,I thought it would be nice for a meet and greet. Turns out there was no response.Seems to be not too much interest here on the Canadian forums for one.

You're tight, it used to be, and would often be busier than the Intl forums. There were also some meets in Edmonton when I first joined, but they were short lived for whatever reason.

Managed to meet a few of the Canadian members from back then in person, and still in touch today, as well as a few from other countries.

I think that it is summer and people are more doing outdoor stuff in the evenings rather than being on the computer. When fall or winter comes it might get a little busier in here. jmo

Laughing is right. Every summer it gets quiet on here. Some of us have met in person. I've met Gordo and Eyes in person while visiting Whitehorse and Geo, Brian and I are hoping to get together for a coffee when he passes through while he is going on his vacation. Kid and I were not able to get together for that cup of coffee.

Don't get discouraged. It's summer, people are outside or on vacation.Be more concerned if a person is ALWAYS on line and never takes time for things away from here. Get to know more about dating, dealing with different expectations, and things about yourself.

If it's going to happen it will. Don't be suprised if you learn and grow from things you learn on line and it helps you meet someone who is not on line. Anything is possible. Eyes met her man on here. Things are going great for them. Another friend met her husband on line. They have been married about 7 yrs now and have 2 beautiful daughters.

My aunt used to say, "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find the prince/princess"

Yes there was always something happening & plenty of meet ups mostly organised by foxyone1, she still a member but don't post anymore dunno

I went to Toronto twice in 2007 to meet some peeps from here, happy days wave
