Dear Mr. President, I heard you say you will not guarantee Social Security checks if the debt ceiling isn't raised. Why do your scare tactics always relate to Social Security, Medicare, & our Soldiers pay? Why use Seniors, Soldiers, the Sick and the Disabled as hostages? Why not threaten to stop payments to your staff and yourself, Congress and the Senate? Why not say you will take away the retirement benefits and the medical benefits of all the government officials and employees? That would save much more money for our country!!! Why not withhold all payments to our enemies? Why not defund the United Nations? Why not abolish all the wasteful programs designed to give benefits to the undeserving? Just think how much money you could save our country! Instead of threatening to withhold Soldiers pay, Veterans Benefits, Social Security Benefits, and Disability Benefits from those who really have no power to make immemdiate changes in the debt ceiling, why not hold the paychecks of all government officials--those in the White House, the House of Representatives & the Senate, then see how fast the debt ceiling crisis is resolved!!!!! We will be watching for your next press conference or address to the nation to make this public announcement. Think what it would do for your presidential campaign!!! If you agree, repost this & keep it going across the whole USA .

Simply put HL that would be far too honest and make far too much sense. Politicians will always collect a FAT paycheck while the population pays for it and starves themselves. hug

Exactly.

It is a myth that governments exist for the benefit of the governed.
Those who control government consider it to be the other way around.
Governments exist to milk the people.
And the international bankers then milk the governments.

You might as well give up hoping for good government.
It's never gonna happen.

The closest we can hope for is weak government.

Hi Ray!

What you say is true, but how I wish it could be turned around to the people having control. That's why I love Ron Paul so much, he wants Less Government and the people in charge in each State.

I am happy to belong to another Kingdom...
the Kingdom of GOD! Thanks to His Love and Grace, I find Peace in all of this government MESS!

Yes venus, the fat cats are leaders all around the globe and they care nothing for the people, for we are beneath them. They intend to sow discord and intice us to rebel against them. It's all part of the plan.

So sad. We were created to LOVE, not be TYRANTS! It's about FREEDOM!

Here is a link that works:

Talk about Wasteful Government Spending!!!

If a landing gear is protruding from the waters off the island, someone should dive down, dig it out and pull it ashore. How could it possibly cost so much? Someone's got to be lining some pockets, wouldn't you say???

Speaking of Hillary Clinton... Isn't she simply doing a followup on the passage of Rex84 which her hubby Billy Boy implemented which threw out our Constitution and put us under U.N. rule??? Come on peeps, surely you know about Rex84???

Sorry you say why? why? why?

I say why ask why drink Bud light - The current President is not our enemy. He does not control congress - he didn't make the trillion $ deficit - that was on the previous President's watch -

He is not the cause nor the salvation to all our problems -

WE the american people created our problems and only we can solve them - WE are in this together - get off your political soap box and get to work - what are your solutions to making America better? how would you solve an aging population? losing jobs as our world becomes a global economy? participate in world affairs without becoming a casualty of them? switching from a capitalistic view to embrace social values including health coverage for all americans?

One leader - one man - is not the problem - whether he is re-elected and serves his term out - we will still get another person in the White House - it is not enemy - foolish americans who sit by, spouting political favoritism and do nothing in their own communities to make it a better place - they need to be "voted" out.

drink pouring yikes that was a rant - wonder where it came from - someone find me my medication!

Democrat/Republican same thing. One says "I have a bad idea!" the other says, "Well I can make it worse!" They cut your jobs and your pay, while at the same time raise the costs of living. Some feel it more than others, but even people who once thought they were well off are feeling the heat. They're making laws against the constitution, making you feel you can only choose from the things they've picked out for you. The American people have the RIGHT to remove the government but nobody wants to be the poster boy to that movement lol. What's it gonna take, a denied friend request on facebook? dunno
