I doubt that anything would stop this sort of stupidity.
At least half the population of Australia are morons (based on the way that they vote).

Ah yes, the dazzling wit of a social liberal.
Just so you know (because your education is obviously lacking) the word and is a conjunction, which joins phrases or clauses in a sentence. In correct English, and cannot initiate a sentence.

I forgot to add, there is no justification for the singular possessive apostrophe in get's, nor could it be justified as a contraction of get is, which would be a grammatical absurdity.
Now, which one of us is the moron?

Apparently, the most popular time for bogus 000 calls is Christmas Day when people get new phones for Christmas and do not yet have a 'plan' in place. The only free number they can call to check their phone works is 000.

These idiots also do not seem to realise this is one of emergency's busiest times with accidents and domestics.

Yes....fine them $500 and confiscate their phone!

Back in January this year, I tried calling 000 from my mobile whilst the thug of a road rager was punching into me ... it took 3.5 minutes just for them to answer the phone in Brisbane and then about another 2 minutes to get someone from the GolD Coast Police to answer my emergency call for help ....

That was nearly 6 minutes from when the assault began ...

000 is understaffed and so are the GolD Coast Police ... I get infuriated knowing Police are out and about hiding in camera cars and behind tree's and bushes to nab motorists going 5 to 10 k's over the speed limit, when there are no where near enough Police on the beat ...

That was the second time I have had to call 000 for help in the past 2.5 years here on the GolD Coast ... The first time, they just never showed up ...

I then had some female spin doctor from the Broadbeach Police contact me and admit the Police had let me down badly and how sorry she was ... and it seems in 2 years not a thing has changed ...

as for people calling 000 for silly reasons, I think if 000 were staffed up properly it would not be a huge problem ... doh

Giveus a break mate...

I find Carl, that when replying to posts, I tend to express myself in a semi phonetic way... as you would if you were talking to a friend.

It does not mean that at work I cannot construct a formal letter or email...

It's part of the fun of being able to post however you wanna here..

So, if you cannot join in with fun, that's fine, but please don't put peeps down on their spelling.. as long as we understand each other, that's prolly all we need to do here..

so, scold

try n be a bit more compassionate and caring and let people be n express how they wanna... plleeeeeze...wontcha... wave
