ma21313EAST PALESTINE, Ohio USA1 Threads 5 Postsok so ive been tring out dating sites right. i notice that the most expencive sites i get a lot of mail, but say no i really wanna see if this has a chance to work before i spend that kind of money. so i go to a cheaper site and wham i have a lot on there too so i go ahead and pay and low and behold every single email that showed before i paid are no longer members. kinda glad i didnt pay for the more expencive one. now i know its to loop me into paying for the opertunity to meet someone but,, isnt there a law or something out there for false avertising? lol im not really upset about this im just tring to make light of a situation that happened to me kinda joking about it. so has this happened to anyone else?

My experience has been that I've had better luck with the free sites as opposed to the pay sites. There are some really good free sites out there right now with many members and low rates of scammers. I belong to one site that is awesome and lands me all the dates I want. I actually met my last wife off a free site. She was a quality woman, it just didn't work out in the long run. Best of luck to you in your search!

The other thing that hurts is that you will get all these hits from these beautiful girls..but you cannot email them witout paying..

Not a clue, mate. But I tried a trial on some of the sites where they want money and they did things like match me to smokers. I can't stand smokers. So, they swear up and down that they match people by compatability and then they just stick you with people from your area in the age and gender group you requested. Free sites will do the same thing, but not charge you for it. Also, there was one free site where they lied all the time and claimed all these guys were sending me winks and emails and stuff when the truth was that the site was just pushing people together automatically.

Before I came on here. I looked at a pay site. I filled out the forum. The second I hit accept. I had 5 members trying to reach me. Clicked on the link. What do you know, it was telling me to correspond with them. But I had to pay! Right then and there I knew it was a scam! I only finished my profile, and all these beautiful women wanted to get a hold of me. Ya right! I think they do that to get men to think they struck gold! I came on here. And met a great lady! I know there's scammers on here. But if you use your brains. You can also weed them out! Theirs a lot of great people on this site. Most of them in the forums! Joe

Yes, i have the same trouble with paid-sides but also with commercial intermediaries, they fool the poeple with nice pictures and not existing Members.
