oz_man: Dude you are posting at the wrong place. This place is full of hateful old geezers who hate everything non-Australian.

wrong, not everyone is posting "hate" as you put it, and you yourself in your posts I have seen so far are very negative. Negativity usually gets responded to with negativity.

Maybe some of the people on here dont like being told what to think, that maybe they have their own way of life and ideals, and maybe they dont want to change. That is their right the same as it is yours to have your way of life and your ideals.

Not everyone has to be the same.

I hope all who celebrated EID enjoyed the festivities. handshake

Wiki has a lot to answer for. Did the Google search as suggested and found:

Ecological interface design, design framework ems
Electronic identity card, smartcard used for proof of identity
Emerging infectious disease, term for an increasingly prevalent infectious disease
Emotional instability disorder, psychological condition formerly known as borderline personality disorder (BPD)

But wait, there is more:

Eid, Norway, municipality in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway
Eid, Hordaland, former municipality in Hordaland, Norway
Eid, Møre og Romsdal, former municipality in Møre og Romsdal, Norway.

And then are another heap of Islamic references.

Enough EIDs to celebrate each week.

Ali said he is interested in rural australia but looks like he has been to slow to buy one aussie icon

The debate over foreign ownership of prime agricultural assets has been reignited by Treasurer Wayne Swan's decision to approve the sale of the giant cotton farm, Cubbie Station in southwest Queensland, to a Chinese-led consortium. Textile manufacturer Shandong Ruyi has an 80 per cent stake, with Australian wool firm Lempiere holding the rest

Silly me. I thought the Govt was going to buy/bought Cubbie Station so that they could plug the irrigation loophole where Cubbie Stn, like every other irrigater in Qld, only paid $1,350 per year for all the water they want. Cubbie has been called the biggest user of water heading down the Murray.

Great to see the Darling flowing after all these years and Menindee Lakes are full for the first time in more than 10 years (actually filled 2 years ago). Although not to top levels as the Ana Branch is now not flowing like it has been over the last 2 years.
