Cork expression:

langers, being drunk

langer, foolish person or part of the male anatomy wink

They created a chocolate bar in Cork and called it "langer bar", the wrapper is even emblazoned with the slogan "pure Cork boy". laugh

Portmanteau - a blended word (often colloquial) created from two or more other genuine words (morphemes).

e.g. Irregardless. A North American Frankenstein of a word which clumsily slaps together 'irrespective' and 'regardless' to create something which is supposed to be synonymous with its parent contributors but when you break it down, actually means... nothing.

Thanks America. Love yer work.
