Have you heard of brides who "Trash the Dress"?? confused

Apparently it is a new-ish trend where after all the ceremony, reception, photos etc. the bride either on the day or some time later has a "Trash the Dress" kind of anti-ceremony where they wreck their dress? sigh

I guess it is a kind of way of releasing all that stress leading up to the Big Day but there has been a tragic story in the news of a beautiful bride in Canada who did that in fast flowing water, close to a waterfall ....... the dress got to heavy and tragically she drowned.

I can't imagine what her new husband, family and friends went thru watching this tragedy unfold?? Here is the link to a news report ...

How sad. I've never been married but if i ever do, i don't want to be wearing such a big frilly dress.Dangerous stuff.

OMG... what a terrible story... this is a tragedy... sad flower


Jeez, where was her logic... or the logic of anyone around her... ????
