Busy busy, work, chores, commitments .. you know the drill conversing

Time out is so important for our well-being, just to 'be', and take our minds away from our daily routines.

Feelgood stuff, you know, simple pleasures daydream

What have you done for you lately flower

Sat and tried to watch a movie today on tv. After the 15th ad for funeral plans, decided it was time to get off the lounge and do something. Anything else. Never will know if Jack Lemon managed to survive without his legs being cut off.frustrated

I am booked in to see my muscle manipulator/masseur tomorrow evening, not that it is all enjoyable but I enjoy the results after a few days when the pain goes away!

and because of all the lousy weather I have ridden through in the last couple of months I have booked the scoot into be detailed on Tuesday, so I should have a lovely clean bike Tuesday night.

And in a couple of weeks I am taking 10 days off work, going to an annual friends bash theme party, this years theme is 70's/hippy. So there is some relaxation planned for me and I am looking forward to it!peace

Maybe for some I do travel around the west quiet a bit... weekends away with my friends I do that a lot or go out on weekends for brunch that I find is relaxing and catching up with mates , but I also do love to show my lovely state off to people who have never been here before well as much as I can in the short time they are here. It's all good life be in it I am a strong believer in that saying and try to apply myself as much as possible. grin

Yeah I do know what you mean like when I took my family to Kings Park which is in the city and you can see Perth city and the swan river at a 380 degree view never ceases to amaze me stunning daydream

thanks Serene hug

Dad is home, but is struggling with depression at present, very hard for a macho aussie male to feel totally helpless. We are all working on it but although it is understandable it is hard to watch. Hopefully he will come out of it.

Gabby is 100%, she still has a wire in her jaw but that can come out whenever I decide. She is going to enjoy my days off too coz it means travelling on the back of the scoot.. Up to Bendigo and back and then up to my parents and back a few days later. She will be grin and hanging out into the wind on the back of the scoot!laugh

As long as Carl is not going to the theme party, should be a great night.

And the winds are a bigger for 2-wheels.

nup no Carl's allowed, lots of fun to be had and laughs to be shared, and our theme nights are always a good night!

If anyone is in the Bendigo region and would like to come (22/9) let me know!

and yep the winds with two wheels can be a bit strong, hopefully will be all blown out by the time I have to travel, or both the Dog and I will be looking very windswept!laugh

I always make time for me whenever I can, don't feel in the least bit guilty of leaving the chores on the weekend to go out for lunch/dinner/drinks/movies, bbq whatever comes up. wine

Housework will still be there when you get back? dunno

I lost a very good friend 4 yrs ago who was obsessed with having a 'perfect' home and sacrificed a lot of the best times to do her chores, so I feel duty bound to do her share of 'good times' as well?? bouquet :teddybear

Having just enjoyed my 40 days in the desert and coming home to a dusty home, I did cop a bit from my daughter about my level of housework. So now I have a cleaner in every 2 weeks to do those things inside while I can now spend the time outside. Or.....

There are many things to enjoy in life. I would rather live in a messy home than a spotless house.

If I ever get those 6 numbers and a supp one of the things at the top of my list will be a house cleaner!

I have a magnet on my fridge to remind me of what is important, just in case I get carried away one day and find myself scrubbing a shower at 8 am on Sunday morning or something stupid - "Housework won't kill you - but why take the chance?"

Gives me the perfect reason not to feel guilty? wine

I much prefer a walk or swim at the beach thumbs up
