serene56: There's nothing to watch on TV, haven't seen any movies I'm interested in for ages either Must be hard to please lol

I just watched "I Am Legend" and "Apocolypto" on my lappy, both were ok, but that's the first two I've seen in half a year, maybe longer.

I'm just glad I didn't fall asleep during either.laugh

SUVA: Fiji's military regime has cemented diplomatic ties with North Korea and Iran this week, which analysts said Friday was a move by the Pacific nation to embrace new allies in the midst of regional isolation.

berrying head in the sand isn't something i consider useful

Especially with the Pacific rising from Global Warming.

I managed to watch the ABC News tonight, first time of any news program in 6 months. It wasn't too bad at all, very little on the sensationlist bt except a bit about Rudd from China having a go at Abbott, "more on the 7.30 Report."

Okay, had it on silent while my daughter and I talked about furnitutre "That big bookcase of yours would look so good in the second bedroom. We might have to get rid of that small bookcase, anyone you know who needs a small bookcase? And Hubby thinks that you should not have that very old antique brass double-bed, it rattles and and our old Queen-size would look so much better in your small room."

Enough of that, seemed that it was 27 mins of Rudd spruking with some guy in the cafe/room behind grooming himself or some Indian lady looking good and parading around.

But did get around to watching Q&A afterwards which was very 'enlightening'. Especially when they were going through the stuff about Thomas Edison "westinghousing" an elephant.
