I'm mostly into non-fiction, true crime etc
At present I'm reading Jaycee Dugard's biography, A Stolen Life, she's the girl who was abducted at 11 years of age and kept in a secret backyard dwelling in the US for years by a creep and his wife.
She had two children by him by the time she was 17.
It's a chilling and at times abhorrent story but her courage and determination to survive and now, make the most out of every day, is just amazing.

Trying to get into one of the many books I have stacked on the bookshelf but too much stuff been happening lately - so I am hoping it will be my 'retirement' hobby
Love reading. Serene that sounds like a good read, how could any child come out of that sane??
