I think it really depends on the people involved. If I were attracted to someone younger or older it certainly wouldn't be a deal breaker. If there were a substantial difference in age obviously it would have to be discussed before any sort of more casual dating progressed into a deeper relationship but I say if something is right it's right. Hard enough finding someone without narrowing the field!
jono7: it can be if ya want it to be otherwise.... nope
Agreed....I had 3 relationships, 1st same age, 2nd 13 years older than me, 3rd 6 years younger than me... my bf is 12 years younger...so far the best ever.
In response to: Is age important to have a healthy relationship?
Cronological age... Doesn't matter for me at all, if we started a relationtship means that we agree on important subjects and feel attracted to eachother etc etc... right?
Now I do care LOTS about mental age... A guy/ girl might be 40 or 50 years old but behaving like a teenager.
It's great to not to loose ur inner child and stuff and I'm really silly and loud, but when it's serious , you should behave like an adult. And that's when it really matters.
