Yeah some people's bills are outrageous wow

Obviously it depends on your appliances etc, but the biggest one I've had is $160 for a quarter and that was when my son was living here.

Mostly it's around $120 a quarter (plus gas around the same) so I only average a grand for power, heating and hot water for the entire year thumbs up

Yes, Serene, but that is $1,000 for both. About the same as mine. Not sure if having gas and electricty is worth having. And a lot depends on whether you are ready to have the heat on as well.

Sitting here at 10 degs makes me think about the heater or just about a blanket over me. Dog I am baysitting seems comfy, maybe just a blanket.

I live in a rental property, the gas hot water system was already installed plus connections for a gas heater (thankfully, as this place is pretty cold in the winter).

I don't hesitate to turn on the heating on winter nights, it's only for a couple of hours of a night during the coldest weeks .. stuffed if I'm gonna freeze to death (even the dog shivers it's that cold laugh )
