Nice to meet you Huggerman! But hey,...I see we both have photos up,...so technically,...irrelavant,.....but I do remember the day,..and it isn't only applicable to males,.....I truly do not judge by what my aging eyes see,...for there is so, so much more to any given person,...

I had no photo for awhile partly because I did not have a recent one. Then I put up an old one. I am still hesitant because I someone from another site "appropriated" my photo. (they gave it back) I still may not leave photos up for a long time - especially if I won't be here for awhile.
I finally got a recent one. It uploaded sideways but if you click on it you will see all of me. I have always been forthcoming and honest in photos and anyone who accuses me otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.
I did not have a photo for a long time because I did not want to be judged on appearance alone and I delete anyone who comments on certain physical features in a first message or if it becomes apparent that their sole interest is physical

Like someone else said, they may be technologically challenged.
My second ex-wife who I met in here didn't have a photo posted when she and I started talking. After a while she got her daughter to help her.
As for the one about them being a scammer, I don't believe so. In most cases a scammer will use a stolen picture.

most of the times I notice someone with a profile with no photo viewed me I ignore them, unless I know they are old members that are real because I have already shared conversations with them, because if not I believe they are fake, there are exceptions like when someone has had trouble concerning pictures that rather send them upon request
