Trouble with Bond was that he cared for the people who did not have his opportunities. He was lucky as he was very street-smart and managed to come out on top for a long time. Hey, he even got the PM to declare his winning the America's Cup an unofficial public holiday. But the wheeling and dealing that he was told was the only way to succeed was his undoing.
Scase on the otherhand just bailed out with the loot instead of facing up to his responsibilities.

I have not forgiven Channel 10 for dropping the Jerry Springer Show.

Sorry to hear that Carl. I watch re - runs of Prisoner and now and then Jerry Springer just to remind me I can lol Gawd I'm nasty

At least free-to-air television still has Cops and Operation Repo. Not quite the Jerry Springer Show, but both are full of freaks and trailer trash.
