Many of us say if only we were the PM or in
Gov what we would do different and how we would
do it.
Any thoughts or comments on the state of the
NHS
Education
Immigration
Benefits system
Employment
Yep a very open whread and looking forward to see
those with brains comment here.
What would you do as PM to sort the country out.
The one that is there now has no clue, its yes to the
EU and yes to the US.
Only someone with bottle can do the job and so far its
been a big negative on that.

I'd pull out of Europe altogether and strengthen relations with the old commonwealth. I would invite other European nations who were as pissed with the French and Germans as we are if they wish to join a 'Trading Block,' as opposed to the Federal United States of Europe with its rules and regulations.

And I would immediately close the borders to economic refugees.

I think we need some of the old stalwarts around to help the three young contenders. There is more egos and fights in question time than in cs and that is saying something.
The hours they work should be defined better how can a good result on a debate on important issues happen in the middle of the night.
Also anyone in high office from any party should hold maybe only three years before new person takes over, from any party. It looks to me that anyone in high office for too long changes completely and this is probably due to pressure of the job, they loose touch with what its all about

Note your comments and as PM I see that some of
what you propose unrealistic.
I am going to give to the old age pensioners enough
to live on and that means 2 thirds of the salary they
last earned. Or if not working then ratio to economy.
Free electricity for all pensioners, and free TV licence
also free fuel for those that use it.
Free travel anytime of the day, none of this 9.30am til
whatever.

The EU is important to the UK and if there is a vote to
leave it then it will be back to the dark ages. So not an
option there. The pound must go too! It has been a thorn
to the other EU members some time now. Its is too costly
for exchanging and the rates far too high.

Mr. L. The NHS is a shambles and its got to be brought out
of the mess its in. The Brain Drain you raise, yes because the
Doctors are not getting their worth and salaries rediculous.
So many leaving for more money in other countries. This has to
stop.
No to the Immigrants coming in for free NHS treatment this was
founded for the British people not the rest of the world.
There will be a chare imposed on alcohol induced injuries that
appear in the A&E Dept of 10pounds. That might ease the pressure
and ease the congestion on the A&E especially at holiday times.
Crutches will be given to those in need with a deposit of 20pounds
and refunded on return. This will free up some of the money that is
lost in the NHS.
All immigrants will be micro chipped on entry to the UK. If they do
not like it they may leave on the same transport they arrived. Permission to land will be denied if refusal to be chipped. Their
ID No will be given to them on a disc like our Max has. If they loose
it then they must pay a fee to be issued with a new disc.
All foreign offenders will be deported without appeal after serving one third of the sentence imposed. Their families will also be deported with them, with no return.
Income Tax will be reduced in accordance with the salary, up to 20K the percentage will be 8%. 20-40K 16% and so on.
Fuel for cars etc, will be reduced after 6pm daily by 10%
Cigarette companies may once again sponsor F1 and other sporting events. They will reduce the cost of cigarettes and the tax on them will be reduced also.
Alcohol is one that will be hit hard, and the spirits will go up by 20% a litre. The pint up by 10% and no alcohol to be sold in Supermarkets at cut prices.
VAT on food and clothing to be abolished!
VAT on other good will be reduced by 7%
Education instead of letting go teachers and coaches more will be
taken on.
That is my proposal for the future of UK.

Defnitely start with the immigrants & asylum seekers. It's not like we have more than enough already, I don't think.

Make it so all directors of failing banks draw straws on an annual basis, the person that draws the shortest straw is shot and replaced.

Pay the unemployed to put a greenhouse in every garden, make it a crime not to grow your own food instead of wasting money on food imports. Also, rescues the failing glass industry.

Exile those and the family members of those that outsource jobs to foreign countries, boycott their goods if they do.

Pull out of Afghanistan.

Push for the removal of Southern Europe from the European Union, hold to a Nordic-Slavic Union.

De-stigmatise the right to hit your own kids.

Force students to study clever & useful subjects. Bulldoze the bottom half of so-called universities. Reserve higher education for people that are genuinely talented. Make higher education free for those that are good enough by not wasting money on mediocre students.

Organise state-run countryside holiday camps for inner-city children at a very early age. Again, use the unemployed to man these camps.

Mandatory 'Buy British' campaigns imposed upon every media outlet. Remind the average citizen of the lunacy of avoidable imports.

Ban the equal opportunities & PC brainwashing agenda within the state. Redirect these resources into teaching people useful life skills such as how to manage & avoid debt, understand interest rates and how to run an economical home.

Daily exercise routine, of at least 20 minutes, for all office workers at the employer's expense. Trim the fat.

The list could go on & on.
