Jillll: I hope you understand that people of a country don't necessarily agree with the decisions of their leaders

That's what I don't understand, we vote them in to represent us, the way we'd like to see things run.

Why is it that it doesn't work out that way? confused

Just as it there so it is here in the US also, our elected officials get full of themselves and begin to think they are our boss and not our employees. I think until we vote them ALL out and vote in people from what are now called 3rd parties this will never end.
Here in the US the problem is not the Dimocraps or the Ripofflicans its both of them. The sad truth is also that if we did elect someone not from either of these parties. If their sole intent was to steal all they could. They couldn't 10% as much as those who are there do right now. They simply aren't ingrained in the system, and don't know where to go to get the money, like those there now do daily.

Just curious, since you´re American,-but why on earth did you fight, and sacrificied lives in a far-away land?

For what purpose really?
Was there ever a purpose,or where you cheated?

To "liberate" them from Communism?

If so,why not liberate China?

Innocent Americans lost their lives for absolutely no reason at all....

I was twenty years old and about to be drafded . I decided to talk to a recruter before I got called up . I almost went into the Air force ( I have always had a love of flying ). I did make the mistake of seeing a Marine recruter last . He knew just how to talk to a young know it all and to get them to sign three years of there life away . The rest is history .

Was it worth it?

To sacrifice 1000´s of young lives,to "liberate" a piss nation far away?

And to liberate them from what really?

Communism?

Half of the world was Communism then, like your own Nation,-so who the hell should they be liberated from?

Arabia has been under control since 1900s just for its petrol, and same thing is being done in Syria, and Iraq before and Iran comes next and Turkey...
But check the history, Turkey is not an easy morsel to eat.
