This morning I read a few interesting web pages about new states in the US.
There seems to be a lot of potential areas in the US that could be good candidates for new states, should their citizens wish to achieve statehood. North Michigan, North Floridaa, West Florida, Long Island, North California, Bits of Texas.
What about others? I read about heaps of 'would be'/'could be' and 'tried to be' or 'want to be' examples.
Does anyone live in one of these areas and would like to see it become a separate state within the US.
I think West Florida would be an interesting option as it has the history of being separate going for it. Long Island is another. It could be called 'Everybody loves Ray-land'
