Our candidates are marketed products like cigarettes and hamburgers, literally coporate sponsored, but we're not inconvenienced enough to force reform. It's the lack of strife, it breeds the apathy.

although american people are so nice and good and i like them alot.. But as for as the american government policies are concern it is not good at all.. Every where when there is war america is involved there due to certain reasons.. So by murdering innocent people, destroying thier happy lives, killing thier innocent childeren may be the cause of the down fall of all the super powers.. Either they are weak and poor people, neither they can revenge nor fight with super. But the great Super power ; God ; seeing every thing and he can do a great justice..

Nonsense. Historical whackery. Early empire is far more brutal than late empire. Rome was far more cruel at the beginning and later adopted Christianity as a relatively non-violent, pragmatic measure to administer a large empire - the social glue of shared faith - ..then she fell apart.
Decadence is what kills any high culture. Continuous achievement leads to people resting upon their laurels(decadence). If anything decadent people display more pacifistic symptoms than warlike ones because they've never had to struggle for anything and therefore don't see the value in fighting.

Consider the Vietnam war, despite the fact that she lost the war and despite the context of the Cold War America was in a far stronger position back then than during the comparitively peaceful times of today.
