Depends on what I am cooking. Most of the time I need to keep going from one thing to another and it doesn't leave much time to wash up. Wipe up the benches as I go (too hard to clean when it dries hard). And rinse stuff as I go for the same reason.

I normally have to clean some dishes before cooking anything, bloody kids, so when I do cook the sink is still full off water so I rinse and wash as I go,
The worse thing that has happened is my dishwasher is broken! She developed dermatitis? So now I have to wash her dishes as well?

Bloody kids!
doh cheers

Clean as you go. Pretty much all that's left to do at the end of the meal is the dishes and crockery on the table, which isn't such a daunting prospect on a full stomach as a whole side board full of dishes.I think that's where my Time management and Forward thinking and planning skills from business studies applied to my domestic life has been a real boon. beer

Blizz, I have an allergy to fragrance, something in just about every washing up liquid. So I have to wear gloves to do it. Maybe "she who doesn't want to do it because......." could wear gloves as well.cheering cheering cheering

Hi Newlife, wave I know what you mean... dishwashers are very handy when the kids come by for tea... then I can get both drawers going... but just for me, I often wash by hand...

and I love the feel of water, my hands in water... so I dont mind..

Hi Jem, I am so used to it these days and make sure I have spare gloves in case I rip some. And best excuse not to do it whenever I go out somewhere.banana But usually offer to wipe up.handshake

Might have to have a look at what they offer.

And when I developed the allergy, I went looking for soaps and deodorants without fragrance. Even Sunlight Laundry Soap has fragrance in it. doh

And everyone that has used the "Moonrock" deodorant has told what a failure they are.

Even for normal peoplerolling on the floor laughing

my mother cant even make a cup of coffee without a mess everywhere. She leaves all the canisters open, the milk out, without the lid on it, I am really not sure how she manages to make such a mess. Funnily enough she has a clean house but she does everything backwards eg, cleans the floor before wiping the benches. She gets it all done eventually and very well but must take her a lot of time with her terrible organisational skills!! laugh
