l agree 100%. l've been on this site since January and only got one ltr. l've sent out a some letters but never get a reply. l even updated my picture. still nothing. l don't know what these women are looking for. maybe they want somebody rich? l couldn't tell you. they don't know a good man when they see one.------ This thread is Archived ------

I've been on this site for six years. A lot of people have let but there are still some that I look forward to mingling with. Plus, I have met a couple people that I talk to everyday. So my reason for being here is just to talk in the forums. Not looking for the love of my life.

Its a great place to unwind and "converse" with a wide variety of great people. I have been exposed to some very interesting discussions, have heard some music I have never heard before, have read jokes that had me laughing til my sides hurt, have read original poems and stories (some of which were excellent) and have made some great friends (and beyond!

A_Non_A_Moose: Its a great place to unwind and "converse" with a wide variety of great people. Like you Gagirl I left too only came back acouple days ago mainly to check on opinions regarding the election.

I have not met 'Mr Right for me', and if he turns up it would be amazing. However, this site offers so much more than possible dates.
I definitely do not 'live on here' and have a real life, as do most of us; but as a single person, I find it an interesting place to visit, exchange ideas, read opinions and poetry and play the word games.
I also DO reply to all messages and believe that manners cost nothing...even if it is a "thank you, but I don't feel we are suited. All the best".
We are all here for our own reasons, however, I feel if the only reason is to find a life partner, people may be disappointed. If it was not such a diverse site, I think very few would stay.

CS is totally addicting. So many features to keep us occupied. Puzzles, games, forums, blogs, profiles, emails (for the lucky ones), and so much more. Great interaction with others. And since this is an International site, we get viewpoints from so many other members from other countries. Where else on the Internet can you get so much from a dating site at no cost? As if this were not enough, we have the totally awesome CS women on here that are so beyond amazing! How could anybody NOT be addicted to this site?
