A day late this year ( Archived) (4)

Nov 12, 2012 11:32 AM CST A day late this year
To Veterans and those still active in the service, sorry a day late. Want to say thanks for your service. Yesterday was Veterans Day but forgot to come and say thank you as always in past.

On another note, in last few years seems people and posting of comments to threads has really slowed down. Anyone agree? 2 posts in 1 hope I didn't break a rule grin wine peace

There are no rules, at least that's the way it seems.
How are you these days? BTW, yes, you're right about how this place has changed, not for the better IMO.

So..............explain what is so different. You must be an older timer, so I would like to understand your viewpoint. Ppl communicating is the norm in every aspect of society, so what do you find has changed on this site.

I've been here for about 5 years. I kinda gave up on meeting a potential mate a while back. Had a few close calls though. But between distances in miles, age, religion, etc nothing seemed to work out. dunno

Maybe it's just a case of the "newness" has worn off for me but it seems like the same topics keep being dragged out of the waste basket and get rehashed over again. Maybe people will be more civil now that the election is over and discuss subjects without trying to make a political statement out of it. One can only hope.
