tomcatwarne: Some info from Google.
Thanksgiving Day in Canada has been a holiday on the second Monday of October since 1957. It is a chance for people to give thanks for a good harvest and other fortunes in the past year.

Yes, that's pretty much it in a nutshell although Wiki provides quite a history related to Canadian Thanksgiving. We typically celebrate it the same way as the US does. A gathering of friends and family, the turkey dinner feast and in southern Ontario, it is usually the last warm weekend that cottagers enjoy before closing the cottage up for the winter.

Hi Daytona, handshake

Yesterday morning I've found a scammer using your profile picture, supposed to be in Australia. The one with the orange shirt.
Reported it to CS and now gone.

Take care.

Saw him in the blocked list, a kind of an orange flag amongst the photos.
I knew it wasn't you, he had an income of $100 to $150 000.00. laugh
I tried to let you know, but I was blocked in your email settings.
CS took care of it fast. cheers

It was a feast in the fall that the pilgrims celebrated with the Indians as a way of saying "thank you" for teaching them how to survive and what crops to grow professor
