I feel success is only gained from experiencing failure.
And learning and not repeating actions that caused failure. Not letting go of the past mistakes only is going ot stand in our way of success.

I don't believe in failure it just means negative thinking gets you nowhere. I am an achiever and I go after what I believe in even if it's only some small achievement is important to the way I feel and think. I am the type of person if I get knocked down I get straight back up again moving forward. Can't stand losers

I have failed to succeed at anything (useful),
and I have successfully failed to achieve anything.
Thankfully failing at all my negative motives is a success, while failing on my positive motives, is just me :)

Failure and success are really a bit of one step forward and one step backward..
You get praised by what others consider your success, and bipped by others for their perception of your failure...
However, what is important, is that yOu yourself see what you have done well, and what you could have done better..
Once you sort that out, its bonza...
But having said all of that... some people are incapable of doing as much as others... in good or bad... its all to do with yourself.
If you feel that you do better than others..that's OK... as long as you acknowledge it to yourself..
and vice versa...

Odd that in the workplace you can do 1,000s of things right but as soon as you let one thing slip, people tend to forget all of your achievements.
My brother is a bricklayer and he can do them perfectly every time. I can lay bricks to a reasonable level. I see this as a success because I can achieve laying the bricks.
I only think it is a failure if you fail to try. I am happy what I have done with the garden that came with my place and the touches I have done. Nowhere near as good as Merri's but it is my garden. To me, it is a success because no matter which window I look out of I can see my trees, my bushes and my flowers.

failure to mean means not commuicating with your loved ones eg family kids etc.. and loosing your job success means differnt things to different people for me its great friends family support and money to live.
and occassionaly a good live gig like colin hay

I like everyones descriptions of success.
To me to be successfull means theres still hope and i haven't given up yet.
