I ride a motorbike normally, and hadnt ridden my push bike for ages, decided to go for a ride.
I was a bit wobbly and slow but wobbled my way to the bike path.
There is a bit of an incline up to the path and me in my wisdom turned the throttle.....
only trouble was the throttle was my legs not the handle grips.
nearly fell off the pushy laughing at what I had done!

Yesterday, I could not wait to spray .....and yeah, it was a little bit windy... naught to be worrying about I thought.
So , pesticides and fungicide ... double lot for good measure..
I came home from work today, and puzzled to why 3 of my perfectly healthy outdoor fish were floating belly up...
I cant think what else could have caused it...

Coming from someone who has almost cut off 2 fingers in separate occassions
When I was about 8 I almost severed my middle finger on my right hand because I wanted to put a beer in my mud pie. I was trying to crack open a hot beer on a rock and it exploded sending a piece of glass most the way through my finger. Still cant bend the end of it as I cut the tendon. Lost a lot of blood in defiance of telling mum and dad too, we did our own first aid by putting it in a dirty glass jar that we found in the paddock with water in it.
Then just last year, I was reupholstering my dining setting using a round knife like a pizza cutter to cut the vinyl and it slipped and ran right over my left thumb. I actually saw it open up, the white flesh then blood everywhere. Had to get mum to take me to emergency and had 5 external and one internal stitch as it was quite deep.

One of my most noteable stupid things was about 30 years ago when I strained boiling hot cookinc oil into the sink...through a nylon strainer and ended up with just the handle I was holding of the strainer

The dumbest thing I have ever done was when I first got my new video camera I was filming away though the lens and couldn't see. I am saying to the people in the room I can't see. They were laughing so hard at me I didn't get it until I looked at camera and realized I was trying to film at the wrong end of camera and was filming my eye

I nearly burnt a kitchen down with hot oil
...left the hot plate on, no one hurt, a lot of damage though

Hey curly....thought you were going to say you had the lense cover on ..... man putting your eye on the lense is way funnier . MMmm... I think we prolly all have done that... had a little mishap with hot oil on the stove...
Cant be helped sometimes.. just jumps out of the pan... and does its own thing...

apart from that i am always doing or saying dumb things it's just the depth that varies...some are hilariois others are quite mortfying but i live and learn..lol
