Ok, so at one time it was good? Had love and now it's gone?... Don't let that stop you from loving.

Pom_Pom: Some bad things can't be forgotten, even though u try...
Hi Pom Pom, again, it makes me sad to think you've been through something you can't forget.
I have to agree, you wouldn't forget it; how could you forget? And some people may experience more than their "fair share" of bad things. I don't believe the Universe is some sort of sentient being who helps us to get or achieve what we want. I believe good things and bad things happen to everyone.
For many years I made it a habit to notice every good thing that happened to me, even the smallest things, like hearing a warbling magpie in the morning, or smiling at a baby. I'd write them down so as not to forget. It did make me more optimistic and I felt happier.
Then something a little worse than usual happened to me and I let that habit slip. I haven't focussed on the good things in life for some time. It's made a huge difference to my life as I have felt pretty crap for several years. I really should get back to the old way of noticing rainbows and butterflies.

That's because it's not for sale.
You have to dig deep within yourself for the feel good factor, and not rely on others to provide it for you.
Who hasn't suffered in life one way or another. It's not what life throws at you,it's how you deal with it.
.......why wish for a rolls Royce......when you know...you cannot afford to run it.......as in life be content with what you can afford..............jmo.

Glib words, Glitch. But what if you've dug and dug and dug really deep within yourself and there just isn't any package with "Feel Good Factor" (only open in emergencies,) written on it. Some of us just aren't that good at "dealing with it".

You don't know what I have been through, so that statement is glib don't you think.
Wallowing in self pity gets you nowhere. Having low self esteem is an awful feeling I agree, but staying in the same frame of mind and making no effort to recover that which is lost is a downward spiral, which can lead to even worse problems don't you think.

No,I don't know what you've been through, Glitch. I suppose your words just came across as glib, but yeah, perhaps you have had to do that digging and if so, congratulations on finding your own feel good factor.

Thank you.
It's difficult to express one's self on the internet sometimes.
does anyone know, when we speak to people on here...what life has throw,n....at them....no we don't.....so any comment we make on here......sometimes hits a nerve,,,,its not intentional....but it happens.......
I'd say in my life it's been the reverse. When I really want something to happen, then I better make sure I do it myself. And when I really don't want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that it does.

I can resonate with that...it has worked in my life.
