Always I am very aware of my environment. I am also a neat freak uh oh

Perth is a very clean city and most of the time our streets are clean we have people that are always cleaning the streets and public gardens , usually if there is rubbish around and there is a bin I will pick it up thumbs up It's easy to be green grin daisy daisy joy cartwheel frog grin

I am surprised at Australian's (generalisation, i know) attitude to litter. I work with young people and they think nothing of dropping there rubbish on the ground. It's very difficult to get them to clean up their area when asked and most will claim its not theirs so not their responsibility. Very sad. The cleaners end up picking it up and the next day their area is clean so in their eyes, 'no problem' I wonder what they would think if their eara was left to build up with rubbish untill they could no longer sit there.

I see at events such as new years eve and large sporting events they show on the tele the clean up the next day with armies of cleaners picking up the mess left behind.

I don't understand this mentality to leave it for someone else to clean up. How hard is it to put your rubbish in the bin? There seems to always be enough about. And if not, take it with you.

When traveling in Thailand there were no bins on the street that I saw and no rubbish either. Seems they have a different attitude over there.

Personally, I think, we as a nation could lift our game.

And what about the garbos? These poorly paid dues that work horrendous hours every day giving up weekends and public holidays just too keep your city clean? Should they not get a little overtime once a year? If these venues supplied the extra bins at these events I am sure people would use them! My council putout more than one hundred extra bins on the foreshore this year and we don’t have any fire works? Until the 26 off Jan! if your concerned about the extra mess after that many people attended I would be asking the council why there wasn’t sufficient rubbish bins after so many people were expected? Too attend!

Do I pick up litter? About 15/20 tones per day! And if you put lawn clippings or tree branches in your recycle bin! I will empty it on your driveway every week until you grow a brain!

If you want to target people that litter every week! Just have a look at your neighbours bin! If the lid is open he/she has neglected the maximum fill line on each and every bin! Its there your just too dumb to have ever looked for it!

If you want too talk rubbish! Talk too someone that knows what you all do every week! There’s always room in the recycle bin? You dickheads! Haven’t worked out why your council rates keep going up! Its because you still think putting a bit of rubbish in your recycle bin wont be bad? Guess again! At the rate off idiots like you and your neighbour! Your rates will double in the next few years!

Them are the facts! Land fill is $130 per tone recycle is $20 per tone, if you put rubbish in a recycle bin it will cost you $140 per tone! Your choice! Just how dumb are you?

This year has been good! Five bottles of wine two cartons off beer plus! Three boxes off chocolate two types off home made jam and $20 that I split with the other driver that day, I still have one carton off beer left and 3 bottles off wine, I gave one bottle to my neighbour as she gave me some free range eggs that her daughter supplies her, I gave one bottle to the ex for Christmas from the kid, I gave another carton to the other drivers and staff that don’t get too much, I traded the chocolates to the female driver as she doesn’t drink beer! And I don’t eat that much chocolate, and as I don’t work where I live I gave a six pack to my garbo! But you can guarantee my bins are well apart opposites sides off my 5.4mtr driveway and the lids are always closed! I had too tell the kid off a few times for overloading the bin! But its her mother that keeps bringing her rubbish around my place that is over filling the bins?
This year with Christmas and new years being on a Tuesday has put a lot off people out, as we don’t work Christmas day new-years day or good Friday! Unless requested buy the big boss, which I always say no too! As its bad enough working Mums birthday! Or boxing day,
