America is a wonderful country, I never felt frightened or even worried while I lived there, but this passion for owning powerful weapons is getting completely out of control.
Americans need to grow up, realise that the world has moved on since the constitution was written, you have the most powerful military in the world, you are one of the most powerful countries in the world, yet time after time, you act like spoilt children, who need a smack on the bum and sent to bed with no supper.

Teachers in Harrold, Texas were allowed to be in schools and armed 2 years ago; so far, no problems. Otherwise, go straight to the ultimate scenario as the final solution and arm the students. Historically, children are the ultimate last resort to be used to defend a country, so just go straight to it and be done with it. People seem to be fond of the saying, "Kids Rule". Here's the perfect solution to a truly American dilemma...

I would never want to convince you to believe anything you don't want to open your mind to.
btw.... It is mandatory that all off-duty LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) around here conceal carry, for their own protection as well as what they are sworn to protect. Being licensed as I am, I am required to assist any LEO and protect any LEO when necessary.
Regardless, why wouldn't any law abiding person be able to protect themselves too? We all make enemies and the world is full of kooks and just as dangerous varmints.
Not to forget, though, I think a lot of people on this side of green on planet earth are totally oblivious just how the USA's position on personal gun ownership is the last chance for peace in this world. If anyone believes the Cold WAr is over... well, they are fooling themselves to say the least. Just look at what comrade obama told the russians when he wasn't aware of being around an open microphone!

I personally don't see the need for either any unlicensed full-auto rifle in civilian life unless its permanently modified to prevent firing. A full-auto anything possessed by a civilian should require special background and training.

years Ago we didnt have Guns But Swords,Arrow,Degar etc and peoples killed each other .Gun is always Right when it is in Right Hands and wrong when it is in Wrong hands And no matter what way you say it, guns ARE made to maim and kill.
Gun is for Safety Hun,As a farmer I know how much a Gun is necessary sometimes being in the field ,

Well I can agree with that, a soldier is trained how to use one of them strictly and taught to respect the firepower and return it back to barracks in the store room under lock and key, I personally own a high powerd bow which is deadly and silent to which a psycho would find it hard to kill maybee 2 people with it but with an army assault rifle well we all know the damage they can do by a crazy individual and it seems alien to us here in Europe why a civilian can purchase a serious weapon like that.------ This thread is Archived ------
