It's safer to deal with someone who wants to chat somewhere else right away. You will get a lot of those. It happens on every site even it is not a date site.

Some could be scammers, some may not be as it seems that many people like the "chat" interaction ..... and hey guess what, there is that option on the site as well .......... so, to those that seem so eager to chat "offsite" its an option to give to them if you are interested in getting to know them more. Truly anyone who is legit and interested in another isn't going to blow someone off simply because they need more time via the options here for communication. Good luck.I think your instincts are bang -on...Always listen to your intuition
